ScreenFerry is local-first.

Data ScreenFerry Does Not Collect

The MVP does not collect:

• Cloud accounts.
• Telemetry.
• Analytics.
• Remote logs.
• Device screen contents.
• Recordings or screenshots.
• Android files.

Local Data

ScreenFerry may store locally on your Mac:

• License key.
• Selected quality profile.
• Profile name.
• App and helper logs.
• Exported diagnostic bundles when you choose to export them.
• Screenshots and recordings when you choose to create them.

Diagnostic Bundles

Diagnostic bundles are created only when you choose to export them. They are intended for support and should not include raw license keys, personal files, shell history, or full device serial numbers.

Payment Data

Payment data is handled by the payment processor. ScreenFerry does not process card numbers directly.

Deletion

You can remove the license key in the app. You can delete local logs, recordings, screenshots, and diagnostic bundles from your Mac.
